Austria

Jose Carlos was offered a job to sell alarmsystems in America, already a year ago, but it didn't work then with the papers, but this year it worked. He is in Grand Forks, North Dakota and he's going to be there for 3 to 6 months, depending on how the job goes. Supposedly it is a good job, normally for students, for summer and good money is earned. We're praying that it is going good for Jose Carlos too and his selling tongue works as good in America as it is in Spain. Well, I decided to stay, because we didn't know how things would work out and how the job would work. So, I took the opportunity to come to Austria for 3 months and be with my family, as we are going through a difficult time too. My father had a stroke 5 weeks ago and the recovery from that is slow. But it is going upward. So I'm happy to be able to support my parents and sisters in as much I can. But we do miss Jose Carlos, Daddy, very much. He is only gone for a week, but it already seems longer. We love you Daddy!!

Baby

Bueno, hoy he perdido el bebé.

Well, I lost the baby today. It wasn´t for anything I did or didn´t do, it just didn´t get all the cromosomes or hormones together as it was needed and it went. We are grateful it happened now, and not furtheron, when it hurts more (emotionally). We are sad of course, but well. So, we already have an angel watching and waiting in heaven!

¡Seremos cinco! / We`re going to be five!

Y aqui viene!

For us it is still a miracle! At first we couldn´t have any and now with one or two tries and the next is on its way - well, it´s hard to believe! GOD IS GREAT!
Really we were doubting if it is the right moment to have another one. But I have this problem with the cysts that can come again anytime, so we decided to put family first and go for number 3. And here it comes!!

Por fin el sol! / Finally the sun!

What a day! We talked about going to the snow with Elen and her family (one of José´s sisters) to somewhere around Granada. Well, before leaving in the Gas-station, we couldn´t open the lid of the tank in the car. So we couldn´t go. But we had everything packed for a picnic, so we called our friends MariPaz and Dani from Cartagena and we self-invited us to their day on the beach! From the snow to the beach! I prefer the heat to the cold, so fine with me! Anyway, we had a great day with all our white feet in the sand and the kids enjoying playing with the sand getting dirty all over and we even got a sun-burn all of us at least on the face and some feet too!

Templo / Temple

Well, we had the opportunity to go to the temple thanks to my mom. Every time she comes, we go to the templo because she does us the favor of looking after the kiddies. Thanks Mom, I love you, thank you for all your support and everything you do! This time, we went all of us, so the girls can see the temple as well. Well, they loved it! Lorena was all day (and night, when she woke up) talking about Moroni and his trumpet! She plays sometimes with fictious monsters and then she´s afraid of them. So we told her that Moroni with his trumpet scares them all away! So, she loves him! :) Anyway, it was a real good, wonderful, relaxing time as a family and nobody else. Although it was sad to see the temple this empty. It was our stake-temple week but almost nobody was there. They loose out! To us it gave us a lot of peace anyway in this crisis, it seems we´re going from bad to worse. But something will come up, the Lord will provide a way!
