Cumple de Sonja / Sonja´s Birthday

Este año he disfrutado de mi cumple mucho. Hemos tenido el tradicional desayuno con toda la familia con chocolate y churros (tradicional con los Piñoles), pero además como me cumple cayó en un sábado, y encima en rebajas todavia, pues lo he podido disfrutar un poco mas. Se quedó Jose Carlos con las niñas y mi madre y yo nos fuimos de tiendas. No compramos mucho, algunas cosas, pero me sentó muy bien. Y por la tarde, porque hizo un día precioso de sol (un regalo de mi Padre Celestial!) nos fuimos todos a Santa Pola, comimos enfrente de la playa y paseamos en el paseo de la playa. Un día verdaderamente precioso y satisfactorio! Gracias a mi marido maravilloso, es tan bueno conmigo y a veces no se lo agradezco suficiente. Me trata de maravilla! Te quiero mi amor, mas que mi vida!

This year I enjoyed my birthday very much. We had the traditional breakfast with the family with hot chocolate and "churros" (something typical spanish, fried dough with sugar, kind of), what we always do, but as well I could enjoy a bit more, because my birthday was Saturday and sales. José stayed with the girls for a few hours and my mom and I went shopping. We didn´t buy alot, just a few things, but it felt really good. And afterwards we went to Santa Pola to the beach, because it was really nice and sunny (a present from my Heavenly Father) and we ate in front of the beach and had a walk by the beach. It was a beautiful day and really satisfying! Thanks to my dear hubby, he is soo good to me and sometimes I don´t thank him enough! He treats me really good! I love you my love, more than my life!!

Carnaval

Bueno, este año por fin podimos disfrutar un poco del carnaval. En Austria se celebra mucho y se disfraza todo el mundo, pero aqui lo hacen bien poco. Pues este año como va Lorena a la guardería la hemos disfrazado unos días y el sabado hemos tenido una fiesta de carnaval en la capilla la primera vez en los 10 años que estoy ya aqui! ¡Que guay! Me encanta disfrazarme! Así fuimos toda la familia como familia de gitanos, hasta con abuela, todo un clan, como ha venido mi madre este mes. Nos divertimos mucho. Era un ratito nada mas, pero muy entretenido, lo disfrutamos mucho!

Well, this year we could finally enjoy carneval a bit. In Austria it is very much celebrated, everybody gets dressed up and I´ve missed that very much, because here almost nobody does. So this year, Lorena is in Kindergarden and I´ve enjoyed dressing her up a few days and on Saturday we had a dressing-up-party at church for the first time in the 10 years I´m here! I love dressing up! All our family we went as a gipsy-family, with Grandma included as my mom is just here this month. It was really fun. It wasn´t really long, but very funny, we enjoyed it very much!

Navidad / Christmas

Cumpleaños de Nerea / Nerea´s birthday

Bueno bueno, como pasa el tiempo! Nuestro bebé ya tiene un añito y esta mas espabilada que nada. Ella se lo pasa pipa con su tata y ni te digo con sus primos cuando vienen. De hecho, por las mañanas cuando Lorena está en la guardería, ella se aburre mucho y se pega a mi un montón. Menos mal que hace una siestecita todavia y me deja hacer la casa un poquito. Pero es una niña muy dulce y se deja besar y achuchar un montón, lo que disfruta su papá mucho, porque a Lorena la tienes que rogar y hacer caras para que te de un beso.
Bueno, en su cumple Nerea estaba halucinando con tantas caras alrededor cantanto a ella y no ha hecho otra cosa que mirar. ¡Una preciosidad!

Well, well, how time passes by so fast! Our little baby is already a year and she´s so much ahead of her age. She has lots of fun playing with her sister and not to mention when all the cousins come, she´s behind them all. The sad thing is, when her sister is in the Kindergarden in the mornings she gets bored and wants to be with Mommy all the time. Good thing, that she still takes a morning-nap and lets me clean up the house just a bit. But she is very sweet and has lots of kisses for everyone and lets herself be kissed, which is especially enjoyed by Daddy because Lorena has to be pleaded with to get some kisses.
Anyway, on her birthday, Nerea with fascinated with all the faces around her singing to her and she was just looking around. She´s soooo cute!!

¡Nerea andando! / Nerea started to walk!

Estamos encantados con Nerea que ha empezado a andar; bueno por un lado, porque hay que estar de tras de ella a todas horas, porque se mete en todo y quiere ser parte de todo. ¡Pero es gracioso ver sus pequeñas patitas hechar a andar y haciendo equilibrio!

Nerea is the kind of girl that wants to be in everything, she has to have her part in everything! So with almost 10 months she started to walk behind her sister and takes everything away from her. On one side we are happy, but on the other hand you have to be always with her, because she has her hands in everything. But it´s really cute to watch her little feet walking and trying to stay in balance!
